Akwadum Christian Village

Situated in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Akwadum Christian Village is a testament to CEC’s dedication to holistic care. The village encompasses:

  • Orphanage Homes: Providing shelter, nutritious meals, clean water, medical care, and education to over 100 children aged 5 to 15.

  • Akwadum School: Offering quality education to children who might otherwise lack access due to financial constraints.

  • Old People’s Home: A sanctuary where the elderly are treated with dignity and respect, reflecting the African custom of honoring elders for their wisdom and life experiences.

The village also supports teenage pregnant girls, offering them shelter and care. Since its inception, Akwadum Christian Village has empowered over 500 orphans, fostering self-reliance and confidence.

Displaced African Children Project

In response to the growing issue of child trafficking in West Africa, CEC has partnered with the Ghanaian government to assist trafficked African children found in Accra. The initiative provides shelter, care, and a path to a better future for these vulnerable children
